Tears are much like laughter. They are an expression. Sometimes of utmost happiness and other times, of sadness. Then why is it that when a person cries we try our very best to make them stop?
Let the tears flow. Let the person cry till they don’t need to anymore. Hold them, if they’d like that, or just sit with them so they know you’re there. Listen when they’re ready to talk but please don’t tell them to stop.
See, crying isn’t a bad thing. It isn’t weak; rather it shows you have the strength to feel.
